Ti2 as partners of MPL are delighted to share with you the new fanless embedded computer family that is based on the 9th Generation Intel Processors which is the new PIP40 solution were released by MPL. With many years of experience in developing and producing robust embedded solutions has made the PIP40 Family possible.
The PIP40 Family has an availability until 2034 with a 9th Generation of Intel CPUs embedded to it and its variants were built in a rugged industrial housing with DIN rail or flange mounting. There are IP67 enclosures and 19″ rack solution is also an option. Installations in cabinets and tight areas should use the open frame version (CPU board on cooling plate) and for applications with vibrations, the solution can be supplied with lockable headers, M12, or D-38999 connectors. Customized solutions are MPL’s strength!
Fit, Form and Function (FFF) of the PIP and the unmatched reliability are key arguments. PIP40 Family has a shock and vibration resistance and an extended temperatures capabilities that completes the rugged. These are the interfaces display port that the basic version is equipped with, DVI-D, USB 3.1, RS232/422/485 and these are the interfaces that will be added as further expansions in the internal expansion such as mPCIe, m.2 or PCIe/104. WLAN, LTE, GPIOs, CAN, 1553, ARINC and can be easily integrated into the systems which makes it flexible and cost efficient customizable. A number of mass storage can be chosen such as, SATA, mSATA, m.2 and NVMe.
PIP40 Family can enable TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform) in the BIOS and can be put in various standby mode levels and with Wake In LAN (WOL), the system can also be started. The power consumption is between 5 and 90W with a limited power consumption level which enables the uses for power saving and also the power hungry hungry applications. PIP40 Family has a specific ignition feature.
Stock and same solution will be provided by the MPL for the PIP40 prototype and will be allow to design a customized solution, parallel develop, test the application and SW. This will expedite your time to market. The MPL products were design to have a long-term availability and PIP40 Family will be available for 10 years. And for 20 years the MPL guarantees the stock repair. In accordance to the customers request the temperature ranges can be extended and are tested in MPL’s own climatic chambers.
