PROFIBUS it is a digital network responsible for providing the communication between the field sensors and the control system or the controllers. It is a master-slave type protocol but with an additional token ring protocol that will allow for multiple masters.
The PROFIBUS Tester 5 (BC-700-PB) a powerful handheld diagnostic and troubleshooting tool that allows full testing of the bus physics and bus communication on PROFIBUS DP and PROFIBUS PA segments (option). It will test the cables, signals and analyze the communication of your entire PROFIBUS network and with the use of integrated master simulator, test to the bus physics if PLC is currently not in operation is also possible.
