Ti2 Pty Ltd ("Ti2", "we") respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. This page explains what our website collects and why.
What we collect
When you send a quote request or a message through our website: your name, email address and, if you give them, your phone number, company, delivery address, suburb, state and postcode, and the products and message you send. Each request is stored so we can reply to you.
How we use it
To answer your quote request or message, supply what you ask us to quote, keep our systems secure, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Who we share it with
We share only what each provider needs to do its job:
- Cloudflare, which helps deliver and protect our website, and Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check on our sign-up, sign-in and enquiry forms that looks at how your browser behaves rather than asking you to solve puzzles.
- The service providers that host our website and database and, once switched on, send our emails.
Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it.
Counting visits
To see which pages are useful, our website counts page views itself. It records the page, the site you came from, your country, and a general device and browser type. It sets no cookie, runs no tracking script, shares nothing with other companies and does not keep your IP address. A short scrambled code made from your address and browser, which changes every day, lets us count visitors without recognising anyone from one day to the next. Records are deleted after about 14 months. When you send an enquiry, the same scrambled code is kept with it so we can tell which page led to it. We also count which words are searched for in the product catalogue (with any email address or phone number removed), and how often AI search crawlers read our pages.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use cookies for tracking. Your browser’s local storage keeps your quote list and compare list on your own device, so they are there when you come back. These are needed for the site to work.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below.
Security and complaints
We protect information with access controls, encryption in transit and limited staff access. If you have a privacy concern, contact us; if it is not resolved, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
